MG4 Ticking/Rattling Noise Coming From Behind The Steering Wheel

Hey Mouss! It's Sten from the AP forum... Ah, those darn front wheel bearings! If you haven't had the well-known internal rattling noise, maybe it's the same underlying problem with a different symptom?

Hi Sten !
Glad to see you here.
That's what I'm thinking, I just need some feedbacks to know what to tell you my dealer

They were cheked yesterday, everything is fine. Brakes, frame, shock absorbers, control arm, ball joints...

5th and 6th seconds in first video and 10th in the second
First video: at 5 /6 sec. your left front hits a metal lid.
In the second video it sounds the same as the first: a metallic click. Check if there is a similar lid.

Thanks for your answer.
Can you be more specific please? A metal lid where ?

When it's happen, it's one size of the car or both : first video, you can hear both size and second video, it's only left size (I think)

No I didn't hit anything , I knew someone will say that.

Yep
Another day
I have a lot of recording at deferent locations and often this weird sound...

Hmmm.. in the first video it was left front hitting that lid. In the last one... Left rear?

Not saying it can't be anything else. But just to exclude the risk of missing an option.

I perform a lot of tests since summer to locate the sound and it's always from front wheels, left, right or both.
Le lid is very fixed to the ground and don't move.
In the second video were I go to the right, the floor is made of concrete and there's the same sound. I think Sten is right (and it's my guess, that's why I asked for other feedbacks) : it's a bearings issue with another type of sound because it's a minor default.

I had a similar stack when I turn left or right. I change the front pads and resolved. Mg doesn't respond in warranty. 330 euro for pads replacement. Car with 30k km and pads as new but defected.
You can buy pads in aftermarket. It s less expensive to try.

When I went to MTO center on Friday, tech guy said there's noting wrong with brakes and there is a lot of Pad. He test them a lot of time and saw nothing wrong. I keep that in mind, thanks.

And it's not fair for you, brake parts are covered 24 month or 24 000 km in France.
