A guy I work with also ordered a Seal after I told him I had ordered one (he had never heard of them up until then lol) and that is the colour scheme he has chosen. His is still a few weeks away despite being ordered two days after mine.

I was going to write up a bit of a review on the motor and my initial impressions but it is honestly perfect in everyway. I love how it looks, the interior is out of this world, super comfortable, the infotainment and audio systems are fantastic, it's effortless to drive and the performance is absolutely insane!

That was at 60% battery earlier this evening on the rare opportunity I've had to properly launch it in semi dry weather. The car feels much quicker when the battery is full so I reckon it could cut a couple 0.1s off that time. The manual says the full throttle max power experience is only available above 95% battery so I'm going to make a point of testing it this weekend.

My BYD app got activated today along with the digital key. All I need to do is tap my phone on the wing mirror, jump in and drive off. Absolute madness and the wireless phone chargers make sure my phone doesn't die so I don't need to phone the wife and ask her to bring me a set of actual keys Which I wouldn't be able to do anyway if my phone was dead come to think of it

I think the XPower had something similar through the app IIRC so nothing new to you. All jokes aside the car is faultless. Believe me I normally find something I don't like or something I would have done different with everything but honestly I would need to absolutely deep dive nitpick to find fault with this. I'll let you know if that's still the case in a month's time but so far well done BYD You have created an incredible car.

With 0-62mph in 3.6s tests going on, I have a suspicion that efficiency isn't top-most on @Darth Niloc's mind right now

Honestly I really haven't done much distance in the motor yet. Plus I have an issue getting my home charger registered and working so am kinda reluctant to go too far as getting her charged again off the 3 pin socket takes ages.

This made me laugh out loud On the topic of testing...

With a charge level above 95% she will pull 3.4 and 3.5 second 0-62's. It drops to 3.8 seconds until around 80% and then seems to tail off a bit although I haven't really tested this much yet.

I couldn't recommend them any higher.

My father reckoned the launch pushed his hernia back into place again so he no longer needs surgery
