The battery has lost about 15-20% of range due to a lot of rapid charging and charged to 100% every morning every day 6-7 days a week.
I do not worry about battery health ! It will see 200k miles on its 4th anniversary from new . For less then £3k i can get a low mileage 61kWh battery pack and fitted ! A whole drive train for less then a £1K So do not stress as these will easy do 200k plus :) I abuse my EV by pushing the limits of the vehicle every day. Plus it carries around 150-200kgs of tools and equipment plus more.
I save about £8k a year running this vehicle compared to a diesel equivalent plus services so 4 years 200k mi save £20-24k. I don't have charging issues these days anymore, when using public chargers.

I used to use grid serv a lot now use keep power CCS. I pay between £0.55- £0.75 per kWh rapid, £0.28 0n type 2 wall box at customers. I get 15% free charging at two other customers and home charging ( 60% of the time ) £0.07-£0.28 per kWh.

I will put a few pictures soon .

Ps I also install home EVSE wall boxes or pedestals mounted type 2.
As I am a registered electrician and also taking on renewables.

thats fantastic data and great to see - as you say its there to be driven/work for you, my rough rule of thumb i was working to was battery degradation of ~5% per 50k miles and it seems yours is also inline with that which is great.

Very impressive! I'm glad your honest about the suspension components. Most people who talk about high mileage cars always say 'all I've had to replace is tyres' , I know from experience of running a Peugeot 2008 diesel to 130k miles; with that mileage on our bad roads the suspension would certainly need looking at.
I currently have a 2022 MG zs ev long range trophy which I will also run to a very high mileage.

Hi Everyone
Hope you all had a good festive break and new year.
Well the car is on 183k now will hit 200k in 4months
Winter 2.8-3.3mpkw only problems have been TPMs
Got it fixed then had a blow out on M74 drove to service 2 miles away and damaged sensor. Swapped wheels and carried on to ferry over Xmas.
Got new sensor will swap in next few weeks. This vehicle is so reliable and hard working.
This week 12th Jan
London Central Monday
Glasgow Tuesday
Local Midlands Wednesday
London Thursday
Harrogate Friday
Local wknd

About 2000miles

Battery is at 82% charged to 100% every day
I am looking a used battery replacement in May

Also a new EV van

Reason why I run this vehicle when there is so much out there with better range and charging speed.

This vehicle owes me nothing
Its very reliable
It costs hardly anything to run except charging and tyres
Its very practical
Also very low key and bland from unwanted theft

This is the sort of car you keep around for ever as its practicality uses and low running costs.

More updates later

Every day I have to drive 1/3rd of amile of dirt rutted road which puts more stress on the suspension as of the weight I carry and the vehicle.

Everyone on here who is worried about your battery health and degradation- - - STOP WORRYING!!!

None of you will ever drive near what I do on the same vehicle and battery miles wise. Or change on rapids as much as me

The infrastructure has git so much better in the past 4 years

You do more damage by not using the vehicle and keeping battery at high charge rate. If you only do small milage keep it between 40-60% and only charge it fully when your doing long journeys

Congratulation on being willing to use your vehicle in the way it works for you, and being able to maintain it to keep on going.

I have a Gen 2 Toyota Prius with 780,000kms on the clock ....... Might be more come to think of it
It is off the road the moment because we have more cars than drives, so some bits got ratted out of it to keep the other Gen 2 Prius on the road, it has 380,000km the clock and is the i Tech full optioned model with lots of upgrades as well to stiffen the body and suspension.

I have 3 x MG4s, one a total write off, one a repairable write off and one we bought .... coming up to 12 mths ago

I understand your reluctance to let the dealership work on your vehicles, I always do my own work on my vehicles.
I also understand the reluctance to part with such a reliable vehicle, my '74 VW Kombi is about to roll over the 1 million kms, the Ford Fairmont '92 has over 1 million kms on it, the nylon gear in the odometer chewed out for the third time and I just can't be bothered to replace it, that was over 10 yrs ago.

Service them properly and most automotive machines will go for ever ... or until the body gives up
