MG5 FL (MY24) manual speed limiter - how to?

I'm new to the MG5 EV (FL) - I previously had an MG4 EV - on which I used the (manual) speed limiter just fine.

Now I want to use the manual speed limiter on the MG5. But I can't enable it - on the Infotainment Vehicle screen I went to MG Pilot, and went to switch Speed Control Mode to Manual but it doesn't show as selected (i.e. with a ring round 'manual')
I suspect it may be selected because a small yellow gauge shows up on the main screen. Is that right? And how do I activate the system? I tried pressing the button on the ACC cruise control stalk.

I'm finding the Owners Manual (the pdf, that is) a bit of a nightmare.

I never use it but I think you need to push the stalk forwards to switch to speed limiter then back towards you to get back to cruise control.

Yes! I am not sure of the exact position, but when you have the Infotianment screen open to enable it, then it works (i.e. selects the manual word) only if the ACC stalk is in a certain position.

I'll experiment a bit.
