My MG5 key fob button was pressed by another set of keys in my pocket and the plastic button broke off.

I could not see a long term way of gluing it back on and so I searched eBay and Amazon for replacements as well as considering a new key from MG Guildford.

I found this rubberised skin which fits over the key fob perfectly on eBay for £9.50. Easy to fit. Similar items on Amazon appeared to be around £30. It is only available in white, but you may find other colours available.

On my previous fob he button skin broke and no longer worked so I bought a whole replacement frpom AliExpress for about £9 IIRC, and swapped over the innards and the blade, which was pretty easy to do ( - I'm not that practical - ), it worked perfectly, no reprograming required. The skin would also have fixed mine.
