June 2023, We were just leaving Carlisle, on the way to the Mull of Galloway lighthouse, when he was knocked off his bike, from the rear, at a roundabout.
No serious injuries thankfully.
Cutting a long story as short as possible.....
He went to A&E in a taxi. (Much quicker than waiting for a Jumbalance it turns out)
I rode his not too badly damaged bike round to the local Motorrad dealer (1 mile away)
The rest of our Scotland tour was ruined.
He got his bike back.......
Wait for it........
Two bloody weeks ago!!!!!
Farce, fraud, fiddle, call it what you will.
And.......it still had an oil leak!!!
More to do with the repairer's stretching out the hire bike costs than anything else I'm sure.
Absolutely disgraceful.
I told him it will be an even longer wait to see any compo!
