MGS5 Accessories- what’s worth a look?

So what have you chosen to pimp up your MGS5?

I will kick off with a set of MGTitan rubber maps front back and boot.

Not much out there yet, car came with dealer mats so will use my MG5 rubber mats on top for now so I don’t lose the new car smell! Mudflaps going to be a consideration this time, I think the car would wear them well and I do need them.

mine arrived today.... They fit fine - only ordered them last thursday (5 days from China) Royal Mail take note!!!

im going Kick plates, mudguards, mudflaps, rubber mats and boot mat plus wind deflectors. Ive also gone for the 2 trays as that centre storage is HUGE, a key cover as the key looks like its going to get damaged or scratched and to top it off a trophy logo for the boot lid.

ive seen the boot surround lights too but cant decide....

Which boot liner have you ordered? I can’t find a custom one, only those universal ones that fit with velcro

I am sure others will pop up shortly, in fact my boot liner from the ZS fitted reasonably well but there was a gap around it

Thanks. I was looking more for one that covers the sides and also has a fold out bumper protection flap. To protect all the places that dogs scratch!

Some other nice looking things on that site though. I like the organiser trays for the centre console

I got the dark emblems, console organizer and armrest organizer, boot separator (for the wheel wells on either side), mudflaps (not installed).

Going to get the mgtitan rubber mats (hope they hold up to road salt..)

I was thinking of doing a review of each thing i buy, but havent had the time yet.

heres the trophy logo...... discreet i thought, plus the rear mudguards. I assume these prevent the crud from gathering on the bottom of the rear door edge and getting on clothes.

Easy to fit (just like the mudflaps) 2 plastic poppers, 1 screw and one spring clip. Hardest part was getting the screw out of the sill trim. I didnt use the supplied replacement poppers or screws as the existing ones were a better fit (so long as you dont break them taking them out) . Dont forget the spring clip though as that keeps it all aligned and tight its the same type as fitted to the mudflaps.

Anyone thought about getting a HUD or one of those little LCD speedos for the dashboard? I drove one today and maybe I'm just spoiled by the original Leaf and it's fantastic big display right under the dash, but having the speed so far down didn't seem ideal to me.

There are loads on AliExpress but reviews are a bit thin on the ground. Want one that has good contrast and which auto dims at night. Not sure if OBD2 or GPS is better. Probably OBD2.

Dealer wants £70 for official MG mats, so would be interesting to know if anyone has any cheaper ones. The MGTitan website won't open for me.

Do you know if they fit well? They have a boot liner too.

Fitted ones seem to be expensive, probably because they are heavy so cost a lot to ship from China.

One thing about the Lidl ones, they don't have the little clip things to hold them in place. Might do as temporary until fitted ones become available at a decent price though.
