MGS5 Comfort Mode Question

Does the Comfort Mode on a MGS5 improve the ride over a rough roads (pot Holes etc)?

If you are suffering a hard ride, ensure that your tyres are at 37, not the 41 or 42 it was probably delivered with. You'd be amazed at the difference; like a different car.

Yes. It gives you the equivalent of a light right foot.

I tend to leave mine in the normal mode and just get in and drive the car. I don't bother trying to get it to behave how I had become used to from my previous cars but change my driving to suit the car. Mind you that's probably because after driving lots of different busses for 22 years with no options you have to.

I find the same. It's a little more sluggish in Normal than my old MG5 but I just adapt my driving style in the knowledge that I can always select Sport mode if I'm desperate for greater performance.

I am for the moment still driving the MG5 and the S5, I miss the snappiness of the MG5's 'normal' acceleration but it's not a deal breaker and it's part of making the S5 more efficient. As Alb says above I know I can choose sport mode if I really want to.

I think I've read somewhere that the MGS5 doesn't make full power available unless it is in Sport mode.
