There was one at my local dealership yesterday when I needed some advice about my MG4, so I took some pics I haven't seen elsewhere. I'm told the car is Trophy spec, same as my 4.

Behold! Actual size comparisons (I parked so my wing mirror is aligned with the S5's):-

Now some interiors:-
nice pics, thanks - you get bonus points for blue :)
The S5 hasn't arrived in Ireland yet but will do in a couple of weeks. Looking at possibly changing as at the moment the better half is still running an 18 year old corolla hatchback. As we are aging (disgracefully) we need to come down to 1 car and although she likes the MG4, she doesn;t like to interface on the screen and having to mess with the settings every time she gets in.
You're pics gave me a better idea of the size difference and layout than the reviews I've seen so far, we also need to fit in up to 3 booster seats and a baby seat to move grandchildren around, which the 4 can't do (although thats a secondary consideration).
Not sure she'll like the increased size either, the corolla is a perfect size for her and the 4 is 'OK' for parking - but I think the length is only an addintional 15cm?

At the moment it's either the MGS5; R5; Cupra Born or EX30 on the short list - or just stick with the MG4 (which I love) and if MG would update the infotainment to add 2 driver setting profiles that would help swing the argument back to keeping what we have!

My managar just got rid of his company Born, after it spent 6 weeks in the workshop for an assortment of errors. I recommend avoiding it.

Bjørn Nyland seemed happy with the MG S5 performance when he did his 1000km in it:

Clearly Bjørn has the MGS5 on loan for a few days. After his 1,000km test (and I would assume a good night's sleep) . . today he posted a 64 kWh range test.

Bjørn's banana box test for the MGS5. His local dealer must want that press car back soon!

Bjørn does a B-road foot-down efficiency test. He is leaving very little for other YouTuber's to cover. I've followed his channel for years and am starting to wonder if he purchased the MGS5. Unlike the Citroën C3 Aircross he covered last week, he has not mentioned returning the car during any of these reviews . . .
