MGS5 Map Updates

This has been asked before, but asking again! Has anybody managed to find any map updates for the MGS5? Been hard work trying to get any sense from MG and Naviextras.

Does anyone know how to get the map data from the vehicle to a USB?

I have used the MGS5 navigation and it worked fine, but it was a pain to enter the address. However I HAD to use it because the CarPlay dropped out when I was using google maps for navigation! This has happened three times now, so I’m wondering if there are any software updates? I have had the car for 2 months.

You can send the address from the iSmart app to the car. Not much help if you are already travelling but might be useful if you do so before you set off.
