Ok I stand corrected but that was the information I was given today by the MG sales person so appears there as been an amendment to the budget statement apologies if I have misunderstood or misled anyone.

First mistake Les, listening to a car salesman!!

Just been to the local dealership to get my 4 serviced.
Here's a set of size comparisons S6-4-IM5

Note that the fronts of all 3 cars are aligned.

Quite a bit of distortion in this picture though, so it's exaggerating the size difference.

Les, you should know by now that I'm the only MG salesperson you can trust :ROFLMAO:

True very True Although Lindsay at Chorley branch was very helpful a little while ago with an issue so I think there’s the two of you 👍

I looked at the S6 today and wow. It ticks all my boxes for my next company car. GReat boot space to get my band stuff in
trying to decide on colour atm and dual motor or single
I'd go for the single motor, unless you live in a climate where AWD is more likely to be required in Winter (eg. Norway).
The RWD has plenty of power, and better range as @Caramaddy has pointed out.

Weird how the MGs boot is much bigger than the others but they conclude it holds fewer carry on suitcases than the others . How many people take 7 or 8 or 9 carry ons?? They did put the litre numbers up but why are reviewers dumbing it down to carry-on units and using that to decide? It seems misleading.

They seemed to have made comfort the key criteria, so while the MG is the sportiest, cheapest and best to drive, with the best equipment; they think people won't want that. But if comfort is the criteria, why didn't the Citroen win?? The Smart was the least efficient by far and the most expensive.

Like many of these tests, I think the conclusion isn't helpful: it is what those guys would choose, but the comparisons may be useful for making up your own mind. To be fair they do acknowledge that.
