Love our new MGS6😍, its a great car with some great new functionality like the two programmable star buttons, the 3 memory seat positions and the Custom Pilot switch available on the pull down menu.
However, It would be perfect if we could go just one stage further and have a software update to include a new "Driver 1, 2, 3 Profile switch".
This switch function (available from the drop down menu) could save your own driving preferences, like default regen, driving mode, one pedal mode, HUD settings, drivers display screen settings and themes etc. The switch function could even include all those settings from the existing Custom Pilot button and seat memory position too so they are all saved in one place.
Two drivers are likely to have different preferences and in the end all of this can be done through an infotainment Over the Air software update as all of those functions already exist in the screens.

Agree with that!

I've not explored it yet (cos I won't let anyone else drive it!), but I thought the MG iSMART app allows you to create, save, and access preferences for multiple drivers.

No, you cant configure any of those settings, or save them as defaults, via the app

Totally agree on that, as a start I'd be happy with being able to set a constant regen mode like I could do in the X Power.

Does the regen level revert back to default level at every startup?
Yes, and mode. Resets to Normal and regen 1.

You also have to set mode first (at least on the star buttons) otherwise what you set in regen reverts to 1 when you then set mode.

That’s disappointing. Now I can see why have regen on one star button and mode on the other star.
