MGZS EV - Tailgate Drain Hole? Please let me know.

is this hole in the centre of the tailgate a drain hole? Can anyone confirm if they have the same hole please - or should it be plugged up? You know what they say about the Devil? ?

Mine's the same, there are two other holes, one each side that are plugged, the central one isn't.
