Gunk is no good at all with any sizeable puncture and definitely no good with a blow out. Gunk isnt good around tpms either, it's an absolute mess for the tyre fitters. Thanks but no thanks.Seems like an over engineered solution to a problem that has already got a good solution i.e. gunk. Modern gunk can be sprayed into the tyre to float around until needed where it automatically fixes a puncture and it can be washed out with water so does not ruin the tyre for repair purposes.
Ok you’re right on the tire- tyre sorry about that edit done but wrong about Wigan I’m in Scotland at the present time.Tire…?
Are you in Wigan, Wisconsin…?
?
Or, make a lightweight, collapsible tyre like we do these days. Saves on weight and space.Alternatively you could just make the car big enough to carry a full size spare just like we did in the old days.

Pretty much what MG has done, the MG5 has the option of a spare wheel kit or have the storage for cables etc.As ever it's down to cost and weight saving but at least make the space available and give the customer the option.
