Mile range on a MG4 EV LE SE model (Feb 2023)

When I purchased my MG4 Ev LE SE it displayed 280 miles max after a full 100%. This was the case for a least 15 months. Recently I have noticed I can achieve 362 mile range after a 100% full charge. The question is can this be changed by a software update as I have had some updates completd since January .

Looks like Km. 362Km=225miles, which is more feasible than 280miles.

If you've only ever driven longer journeys at lower speeds (e.g. 40 mph constant, near enough) in warmer weather then the GOM could indeed show a high range. What does your Accumulated Total trip meter show?

@Rip Van the WLTP of the SE LR is 288 miles. Reset the acc total trip and charge to 100% and the GOM will show around about that range.

New updates reset what it has learned before. Could be that.
Could be change in weather/driving patterns.
Could be software - I had an early bird standard range SE and without a doubt after I spent a lot of time putting the updates on - I could cram more into the battery and it started doing really long balance sessions, initially.

Definitely not in KMs. When I travel and the miles are used up its shows a usage of eg. 10 miles when Ive only done 3 miles.

Has your all time trip computer recently gone round the clock from 999 back to 000? The GOM uses numbers from all over the place to make up a figure.

I've had worse than that at the start of a journey. Gets better with distance, depending on speed and terrain.
