Mk1 service plan

Only question in my mind; if the car not gets serviced at MG Service, does this affect the 7 year warranty? If yes, how?
Legally speaking - No, you can take it to an independent, as long as they use MG approved replacement parts.
You have to consider that although the independent may be less expensive on the face of it, the dealer warranty does come with full A.A. Recovery Back up.
Also, will the independent have full access to the MG dedicated software diagnosis equipment and software updates from MG ?.
Just something worth thinking about ?.

As long as the garage is MG approved, it doesn't have to be a franchise, although you won't get the AA cover renewed.

Edit: didn't see Lovemyev's reply when I posted . . . What they said. :)
