Anyone aware if this is illegal or not? I used my clever editing skills to debadge the car and I am now very tempted to do it because it looks very nice but I’m unsure if it’s legal.

It's not illegal, but if you plan to only keep the car for a few years, it's worth thinking on whether or not it might effect the resale value. It shouldn't, but a buyer might use it as a bargaining chip. If I was buying a car second hand, I would want it as near to original as possible. That might not be as important to somebody else.

I've also just changed the courtesy lighting with these white LEDs, which provide extra light while using less energy.
It's not easy to unclip, as there's no + and - polarity indicator, but the effect is instantaneous and real.

I've just done the same, and as you say, it's a great improvement. I bought a pack of 10 LEDs from AliExpress for £1.12, including delivery. They arrived in a week - from China!

On mine the two holes fit over little, hmmm don't know what they are called, but the fit over and a little leaver turns to hold them in place. To remove just turn the little levers again and lift off. These are only on the drivers side. Passenger side seems to have velcro.

Its not the first time I've replied without checking if it was a recent post or not. But yes they are the little things I was on about!

will post some pictures later. did a few things so far:

1, added window fender for rainy days without have to reply so heavily on air-con

2, change the tyres to Goodyear Vector4 Season Gen 3 with XL side wall. running 36psi front, 34 psi back. single most transformative modification so far.

3, added sound deadening materials in spare wheel well. also added to one door on passenger side so far. huge improvement too. especially above 50mph.

4, added few funny stickers.

5, added a few soft bumper rubber to stop wife/kids destroying the car in no time.
