I did my first long journey yesterday mostly on the motorway and dual track.
Went from Worcester to Brampton in Cambridgshire. 104 miles each way.
Left at 10:30am
M5 to M42 then on to M6 to the A14. The journey took me two hours each way.
I set the ICC to 60 mph and only twice flicked it up to 65 mph to overtake the odd slow lorry.
I started the journey with 249 miles on the clock and after arriving at Brampton I had gained 10 miles of range with 155 miles on the clock.
While I was at my nieces house I plugged in the granny charger for two hours just to top up. The home journey I did the same thing and set the cruise control to 60 again. When I got home I still had 30% on the battery.
By the way I had the air con on both ways set at 18 degrees.
I was pleased with the performance.
Just proves not all motorway driving reduces your range.

Always good to gain 10 free miles! What driving mode and KERS setting did you use?

It's not the motorway that eats up the battery but speed or drag. I just find a van, truck or lorry doing the speed I want and stay behind that😁 Eco K3 all the way.

I keep mine in normal driving mode and K3 because I don't like the Eco light steering unless I'm parking. I'm averaging 230 miles even with some motorway driving at 70 mph.

My thoughts exactly.
I'd prefer it if the steering were independently adjustable.
