Navigation and Media not showing on drivers screen

I just picked up my car yesterday.

I have all the Cluster options ticked.

I can toggle through them all using the steering wheel button but the Navigation and Media do not display, it just shows there is no information.

The Sat Nav works, as does playing DAB radio, but they won't show up on the drivers screen.

Can anyone help me getting these two cluster options to work?

You could try resetting the infotainment screen by holding in the physical home button (centre of the right hand knob below the infotainment screen) for 10 seconds.

Another option is to disconnect the 12V battery for a couple of minutes to force everything to re-boot. After reconnecting you will have to turn the steering wheel lock to lock a couple of times and drive for a couple of miles to reset the warning messages that appear.

If that doesn't work it might mean booking it in to your dealer for a software update.

Thank you, I will give it a try. I have seen the same messages on cars in YouTube videos, so it does seem quite common.

I am not sure what you mean by selected in on instrument pack, I do say in my post that it is selected in the Cluster options, is that what you mean?

If it's anything like the MG4, you select it from the r/h steering wheel button and joystick.

This is mine with everything selected apart from Multimedia.

One thing I have noticed is that the navigation doesn't show anything until the route is selected and running. I guess it's the same with multimedia in that it doesn't show any information until the radio, USB or Bluetooth is actually playing and not paused/stopped.

Thanks, yes, I do have all mine ticked. The Nav and Multimedia options do not work, even when playing a radio station or navigating on the main screen. I have read this morning that there is a software update for the infotainment system that fixes this issue, but if I check for updates, it says there are none. I am waiting to hear back from my dealer. Apparently, it can be an issue with the Hotspot corrupting the signal between the Infotainment screen and the driver display. I use Android Auto, and even if I turn the Hotspot off, it turns back on when Android Auto connects.

Ah, no it's different on the S5 EV, I have all the screens selected.

I have read this morning that there is a software update for the infotainment system that fixes this issue, but if I check for updates, it says there are none.

At the moment MG doesn't do Over The Air updates so it will say there aren't any. Hopefully your dealer will get back to you and book you in for a software update.

Thanks, yes, I have just read that the OTA updates are expected in early 2026. I am not getting a great response from the dealer. I will keep chasing.

You could always try another dealer if there's one near you.
