What date are you referring to?That was the date of release, NOT the date of the tests !
As it clearly states, that was the date of the release, NOT when the tests were done... Simples !What date are you referring to?
This report says September 2025.When was the actual euro ncap test done ?
Again, which date?As it clearly states, that was the date of the release, NOT when the tests were done... Simples !
If you actually took the time to look yourself, the press release is NOT the date that the tests were done, tests take anything up to eight weeks to process, complete and report, they NEVER take any longer than eight weeks from the time the car arrives at their compound to the press release.Again, which date?
Yes of course I've looked myself, and I know the 10th is the release date, not the test date.If you actually took the time to look yourself, the press release is NOT the date that the tests were done, tests take anything up to eight weeks to process, complete and report, they NEVER take any longer than eight weeks from the time the car arrives at their compound to the press release.
To clarify the PRESS RELEASE is NOT the date that the tests were completed, they have a significant number of cars to test with various tests being completed, these take weeks, so the tests would have been completed from Late July, through to early September, with the majority of the main tests being completed early on.
Hopefully that now clarifies everything..... But to make sure, the date of September the 10th IS the press release date. NOT the testing date.
Umm, then why did you continually go on about dates if you, as you say, looked and knew....Yes of course I've looked myself, and I know the 10th is the release date, not the test date.![]()
Because I was referring to the date I posted hereUmm, then why did you continually go on about dates if you, as you say, looked and knew....
Yes, the cars could have been tested in June/July, and MG informed in June/July, but the report not published until September.Expect that the report is shared with the manufacturer before being published, hence we have applied the fix to all new cars from August.
Hi Clive where do I find the build date for the mg3 hybridIt would appear that test was before then as the which website does state August for seat fix.
MG has told Euro NCAP that it has committed to improving the design of the seat latch mechanism so it won’t detach in the event of an impact. This applies to all vehicles manufactured from August 2025.
We’ve contacted MG for additional comment, including whether MG 3 owners in the UK need to take any action, but MG didn't immediately reply. We will update this news story when we get a response.
Just a faulty airbag not stopping your head rattling off things to worry about!!
Sorry that should where is the build date on the plates on the car as that would put subscribers minds at rest if they can check when built i think?Hi Clive where do I find the build date for the mg3 hybrid
Are you sure it wasn't the 10th Septemberthats the date the report was written, as clearly defined by the fact it is on every page.
Ok, now it is clear that the date of the release 10th September is NOT the date of the testing, which is various dates in the eight weeks prior to the testing paperwork completion, AND prior to the release of the press release.... we can end the chat on that subject !
You normally get a certificate of conformity with the car, I'd be surprised if any members cars were built in August and in their possession now, as they also need shipped from ChinaSorry that should where is the build date on the plates on the car as that would put subscribers minds at rest if they can check when built i think?
