Yes, it's that 20°C "heatwave" you are experiencing in the UK

I chuckle a little, because I live in the "sunshine state" (Queensland), and today not far from the middle of winter it's 23°C (2:30pm).

20°C "heatwave" - how very dare you! I'll have you know it was 28°C here yesterday, I was supposed to be playing cricket at high noon but we all decided it was too hot so sheltered in the clubhouse to watch the football (and partake in a few beverages).

When we emereged and started a T20 game at 4pm the beverages made the batting, bowling and umpiring very interesting.

FYI the cricket we play over here has some very good natured sledging and very little use of sandpaper ;-)
