New MG4 coming soon: what are your questions?

As we know, the new MG4 (facelift) is coming soon in early 2026 plus maybe a surprise or two.

Once we have details we'll arrange a podcast to cover it.

In the meantime; what are your questions about the new MG4?

Is X Power ‘characteristic free’, and any change in specs re power etc.

Will we get the new shape MG4 in the UK, or are we only getting the facelift (current shape)?

What battery pack sizes are being offered?
In Brazil both spec cars effectively SE and Trophy have a 64kWh LFP battery, while the Xpower has a 64kWh NMC battery. Like the MGS5 the range seems to be higher at 290 miles for the 64kWh battery.
Also will they be offering the extended range too, and if so that battery pack size and range?

Is the touch screen significantly better than the first model?

Will the software be completely different or a continuation of the previous?

Any new tech under the hood, more efficient motors for example or is it all just visual change, battery info mentioned above aside?
And will it have OTA updates for all systems of the car and if so are they reversible if ‘crap( ahem Tesla)’ do not like them?

Will the UK version run on the Oppo os? Oppo is Chinese (but so is the car )

Software updates OTA and not £180 per update from the dealer (This is what our local dealers tries)
Powered Boot please, the current one is really hard to lift up as the gas struts just barley have enough stregth so I keep bumping my head
Seats to be stronger material
Hope to see that centre island be better as the drinks holders are usless at the moment.
Oh also rear interior light
Great to have the many cameras being able to record so you don't have to mess about sticking your own dashcams in

Will it have the revised steering column stalks like the Brazilian ones shown on another thread so the issue of accidently turning off the headlights is resolved?

Interior light in the rear, and auto dipping rear view mirror on all models?
