so i am about to put down a deposit for a MG S6 trophy in red.


when i collect it from the dealer (will be a week or so) what should i look out for and check before i leave?

as well on a side note i am very surprised how much a variation in deals there was. the closest dealer was £37000 ish and i got it down to £31000 going a few more miles away.

Congratulations, great car and some crazy deals about.

Make sure it comes with a charging cable, the boot lid opens to full height and closes, also surrounding traffic is showing in the intelligent drive screen.

I picked mine up last week. I just had a wander round the car for nothing obvious. My tailgate did open half way when the dealer opened it but I just took it as it was. A reset at home appears touchwood to be opening fully again. Yes don’t forget the type 2 charge cable.

MG have asked that I send a video of my car screen while driving , also my dealer sends one of their demo which is showing surrounding vehicles so they can send it to tech in China, should be a hoot getting it but will try over the weekend with the other half doing the driving, damn sure I'm not doing it while driving.

Just to say mine has no surrounding vehicles when driving from startup. The lane markings do change when driving along. The surrounding vehicles only appear when I turn the MG pilot/ACC on standby.
