No bind button in settings (MG4 Trophy long range)

Has anyone else had the issue of not seeing the bind button in the car settings when trying to connect the iSmart app? I've just got a new MG4 and am unable to use iSmart because of this. I've watched lots of YouTube videos but the button simply isn't where it should be.

Hi, collected my trophy yesterday, but salesperson didn’t connect my phone to the car. Said the activation codes were taking some time to appear. Once home tried again and realised had to input phone number without the leading zero. Anyway got the code, but don’t know where to go from there...

Yes that's right. As far as I understand there's supposed to be a bind button at the bottom of the settings list

OK, and have you visited the hints and tips page....bind, ismart etc?

I'm having this exact same problem - Brand new MG4, no bind option anywhere in the car menus. did you manage to solve it?

I'm not quite sure at what stage of the setting up procedure you need the bind button. Chapter 12 of my guide may MG4 Trophy - a Guide

I actually have the MG4 Essence 64, and the menus are a bit different from the Trophy I think. None of the options listed in your guide are working, although this might be a network issue, as I keep getting a "service unavailable" message.

Hi. Did you manage to fix it. Same thing happening here. In Australia as well and brand new MG4. there is no bind in settings

I do wonder if you get into the engineer menu using other guides and do a factory reset may fix it?

If you haven't already followed the Jerry Pan tutorial, have a look between timestamps 3:10 and 6:13 on this video he shows you where to find the bind QR code on different models, some in SETTINGS others under USER
