Anybody had an issue with their car not starting?

This is the second time now. Came out to use it, foot firmly on the brake and press start. Lights up like it's started, says ready but the red battery light stays lit.

Cycled it on and off about 5 times, even got out and locked and unlocked it, tried turning it off a few more times and it then eventually started.

Was starting to think I was going to need recovery.

Nope. The car's only 3 weeks old and the battery shows 13-14 volts when running and 12 when not. The car is used a lot too so it's not like the 12V isn't getting charged.

They do seem to need a slow and deliberate starting procedure .....these computers seem to wake up slowly.....in my experience.

12v when not running is low. A good or fully charged battery should be 13 to 14v I believe.
