In a similar vein to Bricktops, "who you looking at thread " a must read for Newbies. Today I went to Lidl for a bit of shopping , found a decent parking spot which happened to be next to a Citroen C3 Aircross , quite new. A couple exited the car at the same time as myself , the driver , around my age could not help seeing the orange wedge and just giving it the once over, had that look on his face of " Crap, I've bought the wrong car " he caught my eye , nothing was said, but his shoulders shrunk a noticeable amount , the excess being taken up by mine. How I didn't hit my head on the door jamb as I entered Lidl I don't know.
The smugness continued as every time I turned into a different aisle, there they were and every time there was an unspoken meeting and lowering of eyes. Well ! at least that's the way I saw it.

I was stopped in a car park last week by someone shouting at me, I'm making him jealous. He had just bought a hybrid MG but never seen the LR exclusive MG4 in red in the flesh. I had washed and waxed it that day so it was immaculate and there was a bit of sun out so the paint was popping.
His car was still nice enough and same colour red. Lovely couple anyway, we spoke for a while about both cars and how I was finding mine.
