October 22 : Basic Energy Costs / Results

Incase anyone is interested, please find attached our figures after 1 month of ownership.

In terms of charging costs, I charge at work mainly, so I've done a once per week charge = £0 + I've topped up at home (as and when needed) = £26, hence a total for the month (at 31p/Kwh at home, free at work) of £26 / month = an overall average of 3.4p / mile. happy days!!

It would seem that the MG4 is quite a bit less efficient than other similarly sized EVs, which is a shame.

We get over 4 miles per kWh from our Zoe in current weather.

But, still plenty cheaper than an ICE car.

... this chap has found the same (1min 20s):
... I use it on open roads mainly, so as a 1st time EV user, 3.5 miles per kWh feels remarkable
... although the MG4 is not as efficient as others - its jolly good fun to drive (and will probably eat rear tyres )
