Anybody seen this video released yesterday by EV Nick, regarding Octopus ?.

Looking at the rates above there is no saving to be gained, your standing charge is more than I pay on standard rate by 7p the day rate is 13p per KWH more than I pay.

In the process of moving to octopus and was quoted 41p and 7.5p 12.30 to 4.30am. I just hope this doesn't change before 31st July (the earliest I can switch to Go as they're not taking over supply till then). As you say, with the increase in October this seems extremely reasonable ..

Do you already have a smart meter and how long-ago did you start your switch?
Keep checking the app and then email them to get on the Go rate asap.

Yes I had the meter upgraded by Shell mid June, before the fuse was upgraded. Had to wait for all that before switching.
Started the switch Thursday (14th) and was told the earliest I could move to go was the 31st. I'll get the app set up though, and keep an eye on it. Thanks.

We're hoping to sell our house soon, so haven't changed our Flexible tariff. Suits us at the moment.

E.0n next 19.45p P/kwh one rate only fixed until 7/10/23 stopped EV rate website keeps saying will be re introduced at some point.
