I'm parked in a hotel underground car park. Opened the tailgate and just in time grabbed the tailgate and stopped it hitting the roof beam. Crikey. Anyone know how I should open it in low roof situations please ?

Thanks mate. Its one of those things that had it been an old car I wouldn't have mentioned it but being new I'm trying to avoid marks. No doubt it will pick up a fair number though at the supermarket.
@salty, when I park like that. I'll come back and find a car parked either side of me, the rest of the car park still empty!!
Yep that definitely happens. I once went to a nearbyish 24 hour supermarket at 3am (don't ask!) and parked in a totally deserted car park. Came out to find another car parked right next to me.@salty, when I park like that. I'll come back and find a car parked either side of me, the rest of the car park still empty!!
