One Bluetooth connection on MG4?

Took delivery of my MG4 trophy this week and love it however I have a mobile phone AND (luddite that I am) also like to play my music on the move via a iPod via Bluetooth. Never had the problem before but I can't seem to have both a Bluetooth phone and a Bluetooth media player connected and in use at the same time - does anyone know if it can be done?

Dont bluetooth your phone - let Carplay handle it via the cable

... unless it's an Android phone - it still uses Bluetooth (for calls), even if wired.

Assumed it was iphone but you are right !

FWIW my previous car (Insignia) only had a single Bluetooth channel - as did my Golf GT before it. (I remember having a Mercedes hire car at one point that supported 2 Bluetooth devices, but that's the only car I've ever driven that did this).
