One Pedal Drive not available

Picture says it all. Battery is at 80% so that’s not the issue. It’s very cold here over night -8 Celsius and I have no heating at all for almost 4 weeks so could it be cause the battery is frozen (you can clearly tell that the car is cutting power while driving).

According to the app it’s now on - not sure if that is tied to the heat pump. Is there a way to find out if it’s actually turned on, like a sound or anything? Because according to the app the cabin heating works as well.

Huh? Battery heating uses the heatpump. But it does not work when ut needs to heat up your cabin? If it works for the battery, I suspect a sensor issue.
Btw, my ER had no issue with -7 and OPD this morning. Bit surprised to be honoust.

I suspect the car has a ptc heater as well because the car was completely silent when heating the battery. We also have an air heat pump at home and at a certain point it also changes from taking energy out of the air to the ptc heater because at minus something degrees it's not worth it anymore.

The car did something because the battery lost 2% of charge within like 10-15 minutes. So that is the only explanation I have for this kind behavior. I think the heat pump can be used as well, as there is a coolant circuit for the battery which sort of works like the heated floor in your house (is far as I understand). So I think Option A for heating the battery is that the heat pump heats the liquid or option B if it is too cold the ptc heater takes over.

The refrigerant used plays a big part in how low a heat pump can still transfer heat. The new HC refrigerants are good down to -30°C .... at that point, the liquid remains a liquid when sprayed from a high pressure nozzle into a low pressure heat exchanger circuit.

The critical part is airflow across the heat exchanger, if snow is blocking the air flow, or it has had water sprayed over it and that is now frozen, there is no air circulation to extract the heat out from, the refrigerant remains a liquid and the system shuts down to protect the pump, they are designed to pressurise a gas, they can't pressurise a liquid.
