Opening bonnet scratches paint?

Hi all, first post (due to the forums email problems thanks for fixing). Totally love our MG4 2023! We save LOADS in fuel bills, unless you are on the highway doing 130kmph (about 1%/minute in winter ~6degrees outside).

Also have the forever disconnecting CarPlay issue, I always have cold legs in winter, and the LKA is a crazy demon. But, I love the car so much!

Just wanted to know if anyone else opened the bonnet to scratch the paint on the windscreen wiper arm?

I know people have lifted the wiper arms and scratched the bonnet edge*, but not lifted the bonnet and scratched it on the wiper arms (as they lie flat on the windscreen).

* That's why the manual specifies a service position for the wiper arms.
