There were similar issues in the early days for all of the MG EV models I think.
It takes a while for the insurance industry to catch up when any new model is released.

This is totally correct .
Most insurance companies only update their data base's on newer models every month, I believe.
We had to search a bit to find somebody who had a listing for our new ZS EV back in late December 2019.
L.V. are usually quick on the ball picking up new models.
