It's a shocker. I have the same mats as Bricktop, and I was just thinking that although I haven't cleaned them all winter, they're looking surprisingly clean.

And just because it's "only" an MG shouldn't matter in the slightest, in fact if anything that should make them try harder, but going off the posts on this forum that's obviously not the case. It's not over.
It literally took me 1 minute to sort out.

I know that's not the point, but in some ways it is.

Why couldn't he have taken 1 minute to put it right?
They do have a wash bay on site.

Granted I had the jet wash ready.

But still, it just shows contempt in my opinion.

I will be complaining to O C Davies, but not just yet.

Who knows, that particular mechanic may already be on a warning?

That's not acceptable. I'd have gone straight back in and asked for the manager to have a look. Even the little independent garage around the corner uses seat covers and paper floor mats.

I had already put my own seat cover on to avoid possible oily contamination.

I know that feeling. Hospital appointments do that to you and you just need to get home. At least it was only a bit of mud.

It's absolutely unacceptable to give a car back in that condition, if it was presented to them clean and shining. Which I'm certain yours was.

Good lord, it looks like them they’ve been mud-wrestling in it. I must say, I’d have been straight back in, whatever state I was in, in fact, it would have been worse for them if I was in a place where I really wanted to be home.

That looks terrible ? ... good job you had'nt put the carpet mats back in yet !! ??

Hopefully the temperature sensor has solved the main issue but .....

... still the rear camera to fix ?? ??. Any other dealers nearby ?

The others near Cardigan which is equi distant, same group mind you, but the main branch.

We've already decided to go there for the service later this year. ?

I find I always seem to lose bits of my Hash Brown.


Totally my fault as I like to make a scooby snack out of my Sausage and Egg Muffin.

Take off Muffin top (Egg end)

Empty the Tomato Sauce onto the Muffin.

Dip the Hash Brown into sauce and take a bite.

Season the top of the egg to your taste.

Put remaining Hash Brown onto the egg followed by the Muffin top.
Gently squeeze together.

OMG.

I've been doing that for years!

The temp rises when stoped and all good when driving, this is from new had same issue with Vw .
