Overseas Access (iSmart)

I have an MG ZS Ev in New Zealand. I am currently in UK for some months. I expected to be able to communicate with the car using MG iSmart but it does not work outside of NZ. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

How long has your car been left locked? I find I always lose connectivity after about 48 hours, and presumed it was going into a deeper sleep to preserve 12V battery.

About 2 weeks now. I expect I have had it locked for more than 48hrs before but cannot guarantee that this may be a possibility.
