This is IM. If they want to establish premium presence then they will have to be more open and receptive to client feedback.
Otherwise and forget Tesla or European manufacturers, Zeekr, BYD, Polestar, Geely will have them for breakfast.

It's MG UK customer service though, letters/ emails won't work

I agree I said that even before the first deliveries of IM cars, they are moving into a different section of the market and they need to step up.
It still remains to be seen if they have, so far the answers they have given IM owners are very similar to what we heard when we contacted MG about issues with the 4.

I will give them the benefit of doubt for the time being.
Cars have just started rolling in the country.
You should have seen the mess Tesla was when I got my model 3 back in late 2019...God that was painful. Since then they massively improved as both customer and technical service.
Hopefully we will get the same with IM in the game
UK market is a showcase for the Chinese brands and a major export target. They will want to perform well.

I totally agree and I hope they do but MG UK haven't stepped up yet, hence the what car survey results.
The other issue is MG UK micro manage dealers in relation to faults, even the good dealers can't just crack on and diagnose/fix cars without getting all the steps signed of by MG.

Here's hoping MG managing IM in the UK will force a bit of change.

The statement from MG does not seem accurate.

According to the gov site

You must apply for vehicle approval if you have:

• built a vehicle
• rebuilt a vehicle
• radically altered a vehicle
• reconstructed a classic vehicle
• imported a vehicle
• modified a goods vehicle

Not sure Pet mode activation comes under any of those reasons.
