Hi everyone,
I hope you are all well. I came across this forum when researching whether to buy an HS and find it to be a massive help.
My background is I'm renting a facelift HS 2024 petrol manual which has convinced me. The car is extremely comfortable and I even managed to get 47.1 MPG on the motorway.
Based on I ordered a car, but am having some doubts.
I chose the 2023 pre-facelift PHEV Exclusive over a newer car as I wanted the sunroof.
Please can you advise:
Overall, the question is would you recommend a newer facelift model (non-PHEV) over a 2023 Exclusive PHEV.

Please can you advise:
- In many reviews I've read that the PHEV handles more harshly than the standard - is this true/noticable in your experience. I will be using ECO mode mainly.
- I have test driven all variants - manual, auto, PHEV - but did not notice a discernable difference during the short drives. Does the PHEV lag between gears and jump in slow traffic etc.
- Is the PHEV a false economy - you pay more on the list price and still have to pay UK electicity rates or public charging point rates.
- Is the infotainment as problematic as described - how does it fare in a direct comparison with the post-facelift version as opoosed to other brands.
- are there any other significant differences with the newer facelfit.
