Phone mutes MGS5

I've got the MG S5 back in July. Great car!!
We had problems with Bluetooth in car, often goes on mute for no apparent reason.
Been having this from day one. MG are not aware or do not know an answer!
We have found today that if you put the infotainment screen onto the phone, problem goes!! Yippee!
Only went on mute when 2nd call came in and the infotainment system changed screen and muted the call.

Hmm, my phone is connected to the car via Apple Carplay, and I don't seem to have those issues. I assume this is a pure Bluetooth connection without any Carplay or Android Auto involved?

Im guessing its AA which uses wifi and BT. Its kinda messed up, not sure if the issue is with the car software, AA or phone. I think anyone using AA has the same issue but feel free to chime in. (this is also discussed in my thread about AA issues)
