Picked the new car up today

So the wife and I got up at the crack of dawn to go pick up the new car (well about 8.30) as we have to drive about 7.5 miles. Got there about 10.00 the handover took about 1.5 hours and covered all queries. The s5 drives absolutely brilliantly and we checked that all the functions worked. Sandicliffe service was faultless we swapped over our service package and it will cost £550 in total for three years and and an MOT. Happy days.

£550 wow that's a lot. I am paying £400 and thought that was high for a new car. Love you have a 1.5hr handover, mine was here's the keys, these are the main features, 20 mins Iater goodbye

Mine was certainly over an hour.
Went through all the functions and set up iSmart for the first time.

the £550 includes a Curtesy car. My BMWs second service cost was close on to £400 so maybe I view these prices through rose tinted glasses. But I’m still pleased with the service I got today.

My 3 year service plan costs about the same and also includes a courtesy car or collection/delivery from home, MOT and free puncture repairs.

My hand-over was a only long enough to do the paperwork but I'd had a 4 hour test drive a few months earlier and my previous car was the MG4 so I knew the quirks that MG likes to throw in.
