Please Help, Binding MGS5EV.

Hi All, bought my first MG last week and struggling to find any real info, i.e pre charging , conditioning, charge info etc. I have te MG app and it asks me to "bind" my vehicle.
When I go through the steps it aske for it ends up saying my vehicle cant be done it says this vehicle does not support iSmart.
Cany anyone help/ advise please.

You did the registering thing on the app in the car yes? I had to search around to find that to get mine to bind

I took my phone into the car, opened the app on my phone and followed the instructions on the phone. couldn't find what it asked for and it told me that my car did not support iSmart. Really confused.

Make sure you have activated it in the car, second screen, swipe right from the Home Screen.

Welcome Strideless, I have an MG4 but expect the binding is similar, I couldn't think MG would write separate software.
There is another thread below that may have the solution to your problem, 'Binding MGS5 to iSmart app' It's the same procedure as for the MG4.Good luck.

I found this confusing too. Although the app asks you to look on the car's menus for bind vehicle what you need to find is user. Swipe right from the home screen and it's in the Info panel.

Thanks all for your replies, I have now managed to "bind" my MGs5 following your advice. Not sure if all options are available like warming battery prior to charging on route but will spend some time experimenting.

I made sure I did this whilst still at the dealer's premises when picking up the car. In the event there were no issues and everything went through smoothly.
