Plug stuck, can anyone help? IM6

I'm stuck at work; the plug is stuck in the charging port and wont pull out. Any ideas?

In the boot, take off the speaker looking grill on the side by the charging port and pull the release cord.

Assume you have locked and unlocked the car as well as stopped charging?

Should be no need to stop the charge. Just unlock the car. If the plug is not pulled within a short time then it will lock back in again. Then you have to relock the car and then unlock it again.
