Position of windscreen wipers

Question: Do your wipers move all the way underneath the bonnet when inactive?
The right one of mine does not.

Easiest way to check if something is "normal" on any car is take it to a dealer and compare with all their display models. The pictures on the thread seem to be comparing a right hand drive with a left hand drive model. I know the French manufacturers change very little for LHD vs RHD but MG might.

Have you tried putting them into service mode and resetting?

I can simply compare the opposite side if it is a British MG.
I may have a closer look at the rentals at work. Dealer is too far away for just this.

My car's wipers are more like @Kithmo's. Photo of my car charging at 132 kW at Brimington MFG. (Lots of the more local rapid chargers have had their cables nicked/removed.)

Had a quick look at a few on AutoTrader, there does seem to be a slight variance but they all sit in the black part at the base of the windscreen

This photo is good as it shows the angle of the wiper arm. I'll try to remember to take a similar photo of mine (albeit will be the other way round).

Is this just a question of aesthetics? Asymmetric wipers are not a new idea and they don't need to be tucked below the bonnet line to be out of the airflow.

The wiper arms should be aligned to these 3 dots on the windscreen. Both arms have their own set of dots for proper alignment.
