I didn’t want to comment and derail the thread, but I’ve been gaming for 41 years now. I used to earn pocket money as a lad testing tapes of dragon 32k games. I used to be in the industry getting paid for my opinion for 4 years.

I played doom multiplayer 30 years ago on null modem serial cables. I would love to chat about games all day, maybe a thread in general?

I had 16k! with a Ram Pack It was great until it started to suffer from the infamous "Ram Wobble" You need to be of a certain age to even get that one lol!!

The ZX81 was a brilliant little tool for learning to program Basic though.

My first video experience game was the original pong in a French camp site. It was video games that got me into computers and programming. I was coding on the school Commodore PET in 1979 ish. My first computer was a Video Genie - Wikipedia followed by the Colour Genie - Wikipedia.

Over the years I've had various Ataris (including the ST running Steinberg Pro24 to sequence the drums and keyboards for our album) and a Spectrum 48K.

I built my first PC so that I could play x-wing when it first came out (though I tell people it was so I could retrain when I did a career change back to computers). And I overspent to upgrade the RAM (at £30 per megabyte) and to a colour video card.

I've never stopped loving video games. In the last decade, COD, WOW for a while with the kids, then Star Wars Battlefront then Battlefield 1 then Battlefield V and now giving Age of Empires II Definitive a go for a change.

I am really disappointed with this car performace. It gives me no more than 60 miles on motorway drive, which is really frustrating...... Please go for test drive the car on the motorway at least for 40/50 minutes and make sure you note the mileage and battery range before you start. After you stop check this again, hope all of you will get your answer.......... remember to put AC or heater on as we drive this way all the year-round..............
