If i hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Went out this afternoon to put something in my bin, my cat was there and ran in front of me to the bins, when there i shouted at him to move when he ran under the boot and low and behold the boot opened. Hope he didn't realise what he did as he stays out at night and don't want him thinking "ah ha, I know just the place for shelter"

Every morning my daughter got up and found the kick board removed from one of her kitchen cupboards, so she set up a camera to see what was happening, guess what, it was the damn cat.

Then you shouldn't give her the key, because without the key nearby, the flap won't open either

Does the HS PHEV have the feature where you wave your foot under the boot? Had mine a week and I thought it had this feature, but it doesn't work so assumed it didn't ?

Yes, or a cat!!!!

Is it the "Trophy" model you have? if so then it should work. Make sure you kick exactly under where the MG badge is, dead centre.

Yes it's a trophy. Did try but you look a bit of a plonker in the car park waving your leg about and nothing happens ! I'll have another go !

Hahaha, it does work - I didn't realise you had to actually kick the bumper - I thought it was a sensor that detected the emotion of your foot !

Maybe you foot isn't big enough for the detector - in which case just attach a cat to your leg first
