I am sure you can do it on the info system as well but I find the app easier.

As a side not I do not have a home charger but I think people with home chargers use the charger to schedule the charge and just leave the car plugged in.

Yes you can set the start and stop time plus how much charge you require in the battery. But remember to make sure the charger is all so switched on and of course plug in to the car as it as been known to be forgotten how do I know ask the wife.
