Rapid Charge 100/150 KW

My first time on the forum folks just a question my car is a long range model its only 6 months old and up to now home charge and occasionally use a 50KW rapid charger.
With the upgrading to the 100/150 and even 300KW charging dose anyone know if it adversely effects the battery ?.Cheers

Hi, is your car the face lift version?
The car will only charge at it max level not sure what it is on the ZS but maybe about 80Kw so that's not much more than the 50kW you have already been using.

The charging port is a small flap on the front not the old style grill that you had to lift up which was a bit of a bugger.

Does not matter how many kW charger puts out as zs ev can only accept around 80kw. So it does not do any harm. I have a long range and I set mine to charge only to 80% unless I am doing a long run. I use home charger 99% of the time but when using fast chargers I tend to head for area where there are several, to save waiting around.

I had mine at 90kW when I charged at a FastNED 350kW charger last summer, only went to 80% and it was mainly for a trial, no side effects as yet.
