Hi all,
New here. I'm a Mechanic and have bought a faulty ZsEv.
First off it had an isolation fault, due to water in the HV battery. That has been changed for a good used pack.
The isolation fault cleared and the car now tries to go to Ready mode.
When ready appears it then shuts itself off.
The codes I have are
U0100
P1B43
P0A0D
As well as a few for radar and radio stuff.
Has anyone had experience of this?.
I have checked for damage to cables ect as I suspect the HViL fault to be the problem.
I've uploaded a video to YT, hope it works. New to all this

Also, a poor 12V battery can cause all sorts of problems. Since it's been idle for a long time, the 12V has likely gone flat, and may not recover. At the very least, give it a good charge from an ordinarily 12V charger. But it likely needs replacing.

If you are going to repair it, you should get service manual from MG, you can download it for a small fee.

Have you disconnected the 12 volt battery for about 5 minutes and reconnected it? .Seems to clear a multitude of sins
Yes I did the 10mm reset

I was reading another thread about a lad who was having an isolation problem and someone said about using MG info portal.
Do you have a link?

You probably know enough for it not to be this, but was there some electronics in the old battery that was swapped over.

A lot of these EVs have a controller in the HV batterypack that is coded to the car. If you change the battery, it needs coding into the car or the electronic part needs to be swapped over.
