Rear door lock

Hi , I’m taking my 23 plate zs ev lr into my local dealer this week to have the rear door lock sorted as you can’t open the passenger door from inside ( tried child lock etc ) but no difference. I asked about up dates for the car 7 months old and they were not very keen stating MG we’re inundated with requests?? Even the Tesla update . Is there anything I should be asking while it’s in for the day ?

What is the Tesla update and how does it relate to MG?

The Tesla update allows mk2 facelift ZS EVs to use the open Tesla super chargers. The details of those available are the downloadable App. There is uncertainty as to whether just having a car updated with the latest software gives you the Tesla facility or not. I opted to pay £120 for my dealer to apply the Tesla update so that there could be no grey area as whether it would work or not. It does work so I am happy and I have found it very useful but do feel MG are taking the p… in making it a paid upgrade.
