Anyone has an idea how to remove the rear view mirror? asking because the dash cam i got is good but does not cover the entire mirror width entirely. it works as a reverse camera as well when you shift the gear to R.

Scared I might break something accidently. I got a Wolfbox G850 and the engineer from sp88.co.uk

It's held in with a single torx bolt on the Trophy, but the SE may have a different mirror and mount.

You need to remove the right hand part of the plastic trim, which is held on with 2 clips, once that is off you'll see the torx bolt.

how does the 2 clip come off? have you taken it off before? Just worried I might break something :(

Or just the ball connector because technically possible using this Interior Mirror Dash Cam Mount Arm with Metal Backplate for Car DVR onto the ball mount

Do you know if it is the correct bracket to mount on the windscreen? Also where did you put your reverse cam. I have the redtiger t700 and I find the viewing angle isn’t very accurate.

I've taken it off on my car, I used a trim removal tool, the clips are pretty strong with holding the trim on. You shouldn't break anything if you don't rush it.

where do you pry open with the trim

I pried from the right hand side.

Nate2d has posted some good pics showing what's behind the trim piece if that helps:

amazing thanks

where did you install yours for the reverse cam?
In the same location as the reverse cam in the trophy, just under the boot lid. Is the bracket specific to your camera? Do you have any pics of your camera and position?

how does the viewing angle looks? where would you put if if you can reposition the reverse camera?

The bracket is not specific, I held it together using a strong gorilla double side sticker. Pics below

Can i add a question onto this regarding the Trophy?

Does anyone know if the mounting is the same on the SE and the Trophy?

I'm thinking of putting an SE mirror onto mine as it looks nicer and maybe see if the power from the Trophy mirror is enough for a dashcam. The Trophy mirror with auto dim is pointless as the windows are tinted and i've noticed no difference in it actually doing anything. Tried it on and off during the day and at night.
