Rear window wiper

Evening. Have you or anyone you know had the plastic cover which goes on the rear wiper attachment disappear?
I have a lease car and I don’t want to be charged with unnecessary bills for something that’s just dropped off.

I noticed that missing on my Mark 1 ZS EV recently. I have no idea how long it's been like that. Mine is 3 years old.

Once you've removed it for whatever reason the clips never seem to be particularly tight.

I might have been confusing clips. I was talking about the gap as shown in the thread below. Is this a different clip?

Am I missing a part? (Rear windscreen wiper)

It feels like a cover might be missing from my wiper, don’t think I should see that spindle! Or is this normal?
